22 medical facilities have been built or refurbished by the Ministry of Health and Population in 12 governorates, including Port Said, Sohag, Suez, and Ismailia. According to reports, the ministry has allocated EGP 8 billion to build five new hospitals around Egypt and rebuild and update 17 hospitals with the most recent medical technology.
