Many videos went viral on social media showed the city’s security directorate engulfed in flames,earlier today, Monday.
After several hours, civil protection forces managed to control a massive fire, which erupted at Ismailia Security Directorate.
Egyptian Ambulance Authority announced that 25 people were injured in a preliminary count of casualties.
About 30 ambulances rushed to the scene to transfere the injured to a nearby hopsital.
Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, confirmed that 26 cases had been transferred to Ismailia hospital, including 24 cases of asphyxia and 2 cases of burns
