A PERMANENT DIARNA EXHIBITION OF EGYPTIAN HERITAGE BEGINS IN DUBAI

In Dubai, the Diarna Exhibition for Egyptian Heritage has opened a year-round permanent exposition to honour Egyptian workmanship.

The permanent display will feature diverse goods manufactured by Egyptian and Emirati families in Dubai’s Souk Al Marfa in conjunction with Egypt’s Ministry of Social Solidarity and the UAE’s Ministry of Community Development.

Annually, the exhibition in Egypt showcases handmade goods from the various handicraft traditions of the country to a large audience. In the beginning, on November 17, the show travelled to Dubai for a three-day event in partnership with Al Sanaa, a UAE home furnishings exhibition. Since then, it has been extended indefinitely, uniting the powerful ideals of both events.
