EGYPT REACHES THE 35TH PLACE GLOBALLY, IN TERMS OF SPENDING ON SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
Egypt ranks 35th globally in terms of spending on scientific research and development, per a survey published on the website The Global Economy.
Dr. Ayman Ashour, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, adding that Egypt spent 0.96% of its national income on research and development, and that of the six Arab nations featured in the survey, Egypt came in second place.
