EGYPTAIR TO OPERATE 13 FLIGHTS MONTHLY BETWEEN EGYPT AND CHINA STARTING FROM MARCH 2023
Beginning in March 2023, EgyptAir will run 13 flights per month between Egypt and China. A total of seven flights to Guangzhou, three to Beijing, and three to Hangzhou will be provided by the national carrier from Cairo.
This past weekend, the first group of Chinese tourists to visit Egypt since 2020 landed in Cairo. The three-year suspension was put in place as part of a global response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which cost several Egyptian travel agencies and businesses USD 15 million in lost revenue. Over 1,200 Chinese travel firms are currently in contact with EgyptAir to arrange visits to Egypt.
