The King Ramses II sarcophagus will be on display at La Grande Halle de La Villette in Paris, France, as part of the travelling show “Ramses the Great and the Gold of the Pharaohs,” which features 181 artefacts from the reign of Ramses II. The show, which is on display through September 6th, has been in Paris for the first time in 50 years.
The show includes the largest collection of Egyptian jewellery and artefacts from the reign of Ramses II ever displayed in the US, as well as newly discovered animal mummies and treasures from the royal tombs of Dahshur and Tanis.
