The Ministry of Endowment and Islamic Affairs, decided to unify the sound of Egypt’s mosques by using a wireless signalling system, and it will be in all Egyptian mosques by the end of 2023.
Prayer calls will be at the same time across the country to avoid the confusion of repeated echoes, the government has been working in this project since 2019 and they will use over than 1700 devices.
