A spokesman for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government revealed that more than 200,000 Israelis have been internally displaced.
Half of this number were ordered to evacuate from 105 communities near the Gaza and Lebanon borders, while half left the areas near the front of their own volition.
Hebrew reports reported that the city of Eilat is now preparing to establish a tent city near its entrance, in order to accommodate the settlers who were evacuated from the Gaza Strip after the start of the conflict.
