A FIRST-EVER ONLINE LAND ALLOCATION PROGRAMME FOR EGYPT ENDS IN FEBRUARY

According to the New Urban Communities Authority’s approval, the Ministry of Housing’s website now allows the general public to reserve vacant land plots within Egypt’s new cities. This is the country’s first instance of online land allocation. 305 land lots are still available up to February, when the project is finished.

Land parcels are advertised on the Ministry of Housing website in New Cairo, May 15th, Badr, New Assiut, New Mansoura, Sadat City, New Salhia, New Burj Al Arab, New Nubaria, and other locations.

The project aims to ease the process of applying for and acquiring land while simultaneously providing opportunities for employment and investment and meeting the growing need for land as the population grows. The scheme replaces the individual land lottery methods that were eliminated in May 2021 and provides a legitimate substitute for illegal land broking.
