A new “2 pound” coin is approved by egyption government, after initially accepting a cooperation agreement between the Egyptian “Public Treasury and Mint Authority” and the British “Royal Mint” to create a British-Egyptian mint in the Suez Canal Economic Zone, the Egyptian Cabinet authorised the issuance of a “2 pound” coin to be put into circulation.
