A NEW ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM THAT WILL ALLOW EGYPTIAN CITIZENS TO ISSUE AND RENEW PERSONAL IDENTIFICATION PAPERWORK
National ID issuance is soon to be as simple and quick as purchasing a drink from a vending machine. At least, that is our hope following the Civil Status Authority’s implementation of a new artificial intelligence system that will enable Egyptian citizens to obtain and renew personal identification documents, such as national IDs, birth certificates, and family records, using an automated machine and to pay the applicable fee on the spot.
As part of the continuous digital transformation of the Civil Status Department, the project is currently fully functioning in Abasseya’s Civil Registry until 9 PM and will soon be implemented throughout Egypt.
