A NEW INDUSTRIAL ZONE IN THE NEW 6TH OF OCTOBER CITY
The New 6th of October City is currently developing an industrial zone. The zone, which spans an area of about five million square meters, will include commercial, administrative, industrial, logistical, and service facilities close to the 6th of October dry port and will have a direct rail connection to Alexandria’s port.
The land will be distributed across two phases of the project, the second of which will only be handed following the completion of the first phase, which is a collaboration between the Ministry of Industry and the Ministry of Housing.
The new industrial zone will house numerous firms and facilities, creating thousands of work possibilities for locals.
