Aswan is currently building a new public library. Egypt’s public library, with an investment amount 68 million pounds , is set to be the city’s cultural, artistic and tourist center with a design that embraces the aesthetic legacy of Aswan and is built using local materials.
The library, which is assumed to be 95% complete on an area of 3,200 square metres, will contain a theatre, cinema and archive hall, promising tourists a diverse cultural experience.
