A TEMPORARY EXHIBITION OF 70 NEWLY DISPLAYED MUSEUMS IS HOSTED BY THE MANIAL PALACE MUSEUM
Until January 25th, a collection of 70 artefacts will be on display at the Manial Palace Museum for the first time as part of a temporary exhibit honouring the 119th anniversary of the Manial Palace, commonly known as the Muhammad Ali Palace.
The Central Administration of Ports and Archaeological Units has spent the last 10 years retrieving the items in this special collection after they were all intercepted during smuggling attempts. The Muhammad Ali Pasha Dynasty ruled during the 19th and 20th centuries, and all of the artefacts are from that time period. Tours and lectures about the history of the objects and the palace will be part of the display.
