The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has announced his candidacy for a new presidential term.
The National Election Authority has earmarked the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of December for the presidential elections outside of Egypt, while within Egypt is scheduled to start on 10th, 11th, and 12th of December.
