ABU AUF BECOMES THE FIRST SPECIALIZED RETAILER IN THE MENA REGION TO GET EDGE CERTIFICATION FOR INCLUSIVITY

Popular Egyptian roaster @abuaufshop has earned an EDGE certificate in collaboration with the IFC, making it the first Specialized Retail brand in the MENA region. A business’ commitment to gender equality and diversity in the workplace, notably by providing its employees with a variety of family-focused benefits and considerations, is recognised by EDGE, a renowned global assessment.

Abu Auf also took part in the IFC and AmCham Egypt’s Gender Pledge Initiative, where they supported women’s economic inclusion with leaders in the sector, as if to reiterate their commitment to inclusivity.

Additionally, Abu Auf has earned the FSSC 22000 V5.1 Food System Certificate, which is regarded as the top international certification for food systems. Developed to offer food sector businesses an ISO-based food safety management system
The certificate demonstrates that Abu Auf satisfies industry standards for high quality services and food safety, particularly when it comes to their coffee factory (since, of course, we’d never want to subject ourselves to subpar coffee, would we?). The certificate was issued by the Global Food Safety Initiative.

Locally, the food and grocery delivery service Talabat Egypt recognised Abu Auf as having the Best App Ratings in the non-food category, with a rating of 4.8 and 18,575 reviews. This award is a testament to Abu Auf’s unwavering commitment to providing high-quality goods and services that satisfy their customers.
