After a three-year absence, Egyptian actor Mohamed Farrag will make his screen comeback in the new movie “Voy.” The social comedy centres on Hassan, a jobless security guard who lives with his mother and longs for a chance to change his life. Then, Hassan discovers the visually challenged athletes’ football game “Voy,” which ultimately transforms his life.
Superstar Nelly Karim, Bayoumi Fouad, and Taha Desouky appear in the much awaited movie, which was written and directed by Omar Hilal. Prior to this, Farrag had most recently been in the 2020 film “The Black Box” and most recently appeared in the 2023 Ramadan miniseries “Harb.”
In July, Voy will premiere in theatres all around the MENA area.
