AHMED MALEK PARTICIPATES IN “BOILING POINT”
Boiling Point, a new five-part television series from the BBC that will play on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, has added Egyptian actor Ahmed Malek to its ensemble. The show is a follow-up to the critically acclaimed restaurant movie “Boiling Point,” which received four British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) nominations, eleven British Independent Film Awards (BIFA) nominations, four BIFA wins, and four Taormina Film Festival Awards.
The movie, starring British actress Vinette Robinson, Stephen Graham, and Hannah Walters, takes place on the busiest night of the year for the eatery. The series is slated to follow up the story six months later, bringing in new cast members, including Malek, who will play “Musa.”
