AL FUSTAT PART WILL BE RENOVATED BY THE URBAN DEVELOPMENT FUND
Al Fustat Park will receive a significant, cutting-edge refurbishment as part of the Urban Development Fund’s (UDF) bigger project to rebuild the Al Fustat neighbourhood of Old Cairo.
Six regions make up the concept, including a Kasabah area, a residential area for hotels, and spaces for commercial and cultural endeavours. In order to maintain the park’s blossoming vegetation, the UDF has made it clear that only a small number of new buildings will be included in the residential sector.
The present Amr Ibn Al-As outdoor arena will be replaced with a brand-new entertainment facility.
The project will probably cost roughly EGP 9 billion. The project’s first phase, which includes the cultural area and the entertainment area, is expected to be finished in June.
