Legendary footballer Lionel Messi is reportedly leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer for a $400 million deal to join the Saudi Pro League. Cristiano Ronaldo, a rival player who presently represents Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, would earn twice as much as him.
Messi’s father, Jorge, is reportedly representing him in negotiations, and the deal is being mediated by Garry Cook, the Saudi Pro League’s executive president and CEO and the former CEO of Manchester City. Reports of Messi’s upcoming transfer come as PSG has suspended him for travelling to Saudi Arabia without permission as a tourism ambassador.
