Amina Kassem’s role as match manager for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2026 has ended, following the quarter-final matches.

Amina supervised the matches of the Australian city of Melbourne, and oversaw every aspect of the organization in this city.

This is the second World Cup for Amina, after she assumed the position of match director at the World Cup in France 2019, as the first Egyptian to have this status.

She also served as tournament director for the U-17 and U-20 Women’s World Cups, which were held in Jordan in 2017 and Costa Rica respectively.

Amina oversees several African championships at the men’s and women’s levels as the Disciplinary Director of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
