The second edition of the Cairo Drama Festival, “60 Years of Drama”, which will be screened in the new city of Alamein on Thursday, August 24, will begin with the StarScrapers Awards. In a special ceremony commemorating the 60th anniversary of the production and broadcast of Egypt’s first dramatic work, the most prominent characters and artists who influenced the history of the Egyptian drama will be honored, and awards will be awarded in 2023 to the best dramas and their authors.
The contenders for the “Best Rising Face” award are:
