The second edition of the Cairo Drama Festival, “60 Years of Drama”, which will be screened in the new city of Alamein on Thursday, August 24, will begin with the StarScrapers Awards. In a special ceremony commemorating the 60th anniversary of the production and broadcast of Egypt’s first dramatic work, the most prominent characters and artists who influenced the history of the Egyptian drama will be honored, and awards will be awarded in 2023 to the best dramas and their authors.
The contenders for the “Best Rising Face” award are:
Amir Eid, Rakin Saad, Sarah Abdul Rahman, Sadqiq Sakhr, Tamer Hashim King of Husseini, Issam Omar, Slavah Ghanem, Jessica Hossam, Lena Sofia, Laila Ahmed Zahir, Maryam Algendi, Ali Abd Al-Moneim, Sara Al-Shami, Mustafa Gharib, Dalia Shawqi, Ahmed Jamal Saeed, Ahmed Majid, Omar al-Sharif Ahmed Abdel Hamid, Ali Sobhi, Mayan Sayed, Ahmed Abdel Wahab , Wala Al-Sharif, Rana Al-Saif, Maryam Ashraf Zaki, Farida ragab and taha desoky.
