Amir El-Masry is on the list of the 40 most influential in cinema and television in the Arab world
The Egyptian international star Amir El-Masry occupied the list of Esquire Middle East magazine for the 40 most influential Arabs in cinema and television through their pioneering works and distinctive creative voices, and the magazine described them as names that need to be followed, whether inside or outside the Arab region.
Amir El-Masry had a busy year in 2022, as he embodied the character of Mohamed Al-Fayed in the international American series “The Crown”, and he also presented the character of an Egyptian doctor in World War II in the British series “SAS Rogue Heroes”, and also starred in “Hashtag Gawezni”, which was launched in the Arab cinemas and gained a great success.
In addition to his participation in the musical series “Magnouna Bik”, which topped the trend of “Shahid VIP” platform.
@amirelmasry is an Egyptian-British actor. He started his career with works that met with great success from the Arab world, such as “Ramadan Mabrouk Abu Al-Alamein Hamouda” and “El talata Yashtaghalounaha”. Then, he started his international acting career by participating in the movie “Lost in London” by the famous star Woody Harrelson, and he also participated in the nominated series “The State” for the BAFTA Award as the best short series.
In 2018 El-Masry starred in the movie “The Arab Warrior” , which is the first long narrative film produced by Saudi Arabia and America, then he participated in the famous series “Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker”.
In addition to the Movie “Limbo”, which was screened at the Cannes Film Festival, and won three awards at the Cairo International Film Festival, “Limbo” brought Amir the best actor award at the BAFTA Awards in Scotland, and it was nominated for the best British film in 2021 from the British BAFTA.
Last but not least, Amir participated in the series “The One”, which is shown on the Netflix platform, and also, competed with the movie “Ritsa” (2021) in the egyptian cinemas. Along with his participation in the Ramadan 2022 season in the series ” El Ekhtyar 3″.
