The Upper Egypt Open Water Swimming Championship is being held at Aswan for the first time in forty years. Swimming down the Nile with the National Open Water Team are more than 140 competitors from across the governorate.
The Aswan governorate and Egypt’s National Swimming Federation collaborated to create the Upper Egypt Open Water Championship, which is a part of the country’s celebration of Egypt’s historic triumph on October 6.
