BOOGY AND TAMTAM RETURN TO TV
The popular television show Boogy and Tamtam will soon return to theatres after over 40 years after the first episode aired on television!
Mohamed Nour, the director of the Cairo Puppet Theater, said that the “Boogy and Tamtam” television series will be recreated on the puppet stage in a production titled “Boogy and Tamtam on the Internet,” in which the characters would be updated for the contemporary digital era.
The programme was created by Rahmi’s puppets, directed by Hani Al-Banna, and written and composed by Mohamed Bahjat.
The wife of the late, famous artist Rahmi, who wrote and directed the television series “Boogy and Tamtam,” will collaborate on the presentation of this version.
