BRITISH AIRWAYS INCLUDES HIJAB IN NEW CABIN CREW UNIFORM
Rabat – British Airways, the national carrier of the UK, has presented its first updated uniform in nearly 20 years, giving female cabin crew members additional outfit options like the hijab and jumpsuits.
Female cabin staff have a variety of different alternatives to pick from, including dresses, skirts, and pants, in addition to the two newest additions, the hijab and jumpsuits. Men can choose between a three-piece suit, the British airline said in a statement.
Many internet users praised British Airways on social media for allowing Muslim female cabin staff to wear headscarves by adding the hijab in the airline’s new uniform.
