By the second half of 2023, Saudi Arabia plans to deploy Saudi astronauts to the International Space Station, according to an announcement. The names of those astronauts, Rayana Barnawi, the first Saudi woman to go in space, and Ali Al-Qarni, who will join the mission’s crew, were also made public by the Saudi Press Agency. To improve national skills in the field, “SpaceX” will organise this mission, which will begin with a voyage from the United States of America to the International Space Station.
