Phase 1 of the @cairobikeeg Initiative has officially begun today. 🚴♀️
The project’s first phase has 26 stations and 250 bikes dispersed across the city area. Each station has 10 to 28 bikes, a security camera, and a staff member who will help you register and make payments.
The good news is that you may now drive your bikes securely on some of the streets in downtown thanks to the installation of bike lanes!
In a few years, we’re eager to see how this effort impacts Cairo.
