The Luxor Half Marathon, organized by the local sports organization Cairo Runners for the first time, will be held on the 6th of next October, with part of the marathon proceeds being donated to the city’s Shafa El Orman Hospital, which will provide free medical treatment to thousands of children.
The comprehensive event offers a variety of ways to meet the needs of participants of different backgrounds and abilities, including a 21km half marathon and 10km run (with a timing and ranking system), and a family race, in which individuals of all ages and fitness levels can participate.
Tickets can be purchased until September 25 through the Cairo Runners official website.
