CENTRAL BANK OF RUSSIA ADDS EGP TO EXCHANGE RATE LIST

The Egyptian pound is one of nine new currencies that the Central Bank of Russia has added to its list of exchange rates. The official exchange rate between the Egyptian pound and the Russian ruble at this time is EGP 10 to 23.3 rubles (EGP 1 to 2.3 rubles).

Additionally, Russia is collaborating with the Central Bank of Egypt to ensure that the Mir payment cards, which will enable businesses here to accept payments from abroad, function as intended after being first proposed in 2014.

The UAE dirham, Thai baht, Vietnamese dong, Serbian dinar, New Zealand dollar, Georgian lari, Indonesian rupiah, and Qatari riyal are the other eight currencies that are now on the Russian Central Bank’s exchange list.
