CHRISTINA KARAM LAUNCHES “EGYPT DESERVES” INITIATIVE TO ATTRACT TOURISTS
One of Egypt’s growing musical stars is using her songs to promote and draw visitors to the nation’s numerous archaeological marvels, monuments, and landscapes.
With songs in Arabic, Spanish, English, and even prehistoric Egyptian, Christina Karam’s “Egypt Deserves” project attempts to raise awareness of the nation.
She told Arab News, “I use singing as a technique to portray the greatness of Egyptian structures and antiquities. I sing in these languages and would love to sing in others so that I might reach more people.
