Christopher Nolan takes us back in time to witness the world’s first atomic explosion BY “Oppenheimer”
In his most recent film, Oppenheimer, Christopher Nolan transports us back in time to see the first atomic explosion, but Nolan wouldn’t be Nolan if he didn’t achieve it without CGI! The director is renowned for favouring physical effects over CGI, as shown in the rotating hallway from Inception and the actual Boeing 747 being destroyed in Tenet.
It was a significant task to attempt to recreate the Trinity test without the use of computer graphics, according to Nolan.
