“Civilization Without Barriers” is the graduation project of 8 students at the Faculty of Arts, Specialized Translation Program, Spanish Department at Cairo University

The project targets the  visually impaired, to help them enjoy the touristic places and learn about the Egyptian civilization with all its details  .

‎‏The students created an audio guide in three languages ​​(English, Spanish and Arabic) for the masterpieces in the main exhibition, and the textiles hall. Also, they developed an audio guide in Spanish for the Mummys Hall at the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, which will soon be available for the first time in Egypt.

‎‏in addition, they converted the museum’s brochures into Braille, to be available in both languages ​​(Spanish and English). They hope to help everyone with visual impairments to enjoy our country, Egypt, and its touristic places.
