Composer Amr Mostafa sparked controversy over the use of the voice of Kawkab al-Sharq, Umm Kulthum, through artificial intelligence.
Amr Mostafa stated, in a television interview, that he is using artificial intelligence to prepare a book about his artistic career, entitled “25 Years of Music.”
The composer added: I am writing a book with artificial intelligence about my musical history and everything that happened in it, and it will shock the Arab world with a terrible shock, and it will be published soon. I speak to the AI and it translates.
