Hany Shenouda is regarded as one of the forerunners of Egyptian contemporary music. He founded one of the country’s earliest modern bands, “Al Massriyeen,” in 1977. Shenouda has not only influenced a new generation of musicians in the MENA region but has also uncovered a number of Egyptian superstars, like Mohamed Mounir and Amr Diab.
Starting at 8 PM on Friday, the renowned musician will perform on stage alongside a remarkable group of up-and-coming musicians.
