CORNICHE ELMOKATTAM WILL BE RENOVATED FOR EGP 32 BILLION
A brand-new initiative to develop the Mokattam corniche with an investment of EGP 32 billion was unveiled by the Ministry of Public Business Sector. Scope International Engineering Company, the principal investor, and Al Nasr Housing and Development Company signed the development project contract.
The project, which is estimated to generate EGP 61 billion in combined public and private revenue, will give the area housing as well as sporting, educational, and tourism amenities. The project will be divided into two sections, the first of which will concentrate on the Mokattam corniche and the second of which will concentrate on the central heights, and will be built over a 2 million square metre area.
