The UN Climate Change Conference of Youth (COY17), one of the numerous activities taking place in conjunction with the COP27 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Sharm El Sheikh this November, is here to assist the younger generation in taking action on climate change.
Since its start in 2005, the conference has been highlighting the voices of youth wherever COP has been held. The previous iteration, which coincided with COP26 in Glasgow, attracted thousands of aspiring change agents from 140 nations.
The 17th iteration of the conference, which runs from November 3 to November 5, will give attendees the information and resources they need to make further contributions to international discussions and sustainability initiatives.
