Deutsche Bahn to run a 200KM high-speed rail in Egypt
The German corporation Deutsche Bahn (DB) has been given a contract by the Egyptian government to run a 200 KM high-speed rail network throughout the nation. The agreement was finalised at the COP27 UN Climate Change Conference in Sharm El Sheikh, and the railway will be the sixth-longest in the world with 60 stations that can serve 90% of Egyptians.
