DR. ASHRAF SOBHY ATTENDS THE SIGNING CEREMONY BETWEEN “WAF” AND THE EGYPTIAN SWIMMING FEDERATION
The signing ceremony between the World Aquatic Federation (WAF) and the Egyptian Swimming Federation took place on Saturday with Dr. Ashraf Sobhy, Minister of Youth and Sports, in attendance (ESF). The agreement states that @Somabayredsea will host a number of international water sports championships.
Captain Pilot Husain Al Musallam, President of WAF, Engineer Yasser Idris, Chairman of the ESF, Engineer Ibrahim Zaher, General Secretary of The ESF, and Engineer Ibrahim El-Missiri, CEO of Abu Soma Touristic Development Company, all attended the occasion.
The deal is expected to cover three major international aquatic competitions, including the Open Water Swimming Championship, World Beach Water Polo Qualification Tournaments, and the Water Ballet World Cup. Also, 600 individuals from all over the world are anticipated to participate over the course of the festivities, which will begin in May 2023.
