According to recent data released by the Financial Regulatory Authority (EFSA), Egyptians obtained financing worth EGP 203.2m from various installment companies between January and April 2023 to acquire renewable energy solutions.
Moreover, the number of Egyptians who benefited from consumer financing activities increased to 1.131 million, with financing amounting to EGP 13.1 billion as of the end of April, which represents a 24.4% increase in the number of customers and a 43.1% increase in financing value. In April alone, 276.9 thousand Egyptians obtained installment loans, with a total of 2.9 billion pounds, from installment companies.
