According to Ahmed Eissa, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, seven million tourists visited Egypt in the past six months.
Egypt attracted a record 1.35 million tourists in April alone, a number not seen since before the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Egypt welcomed 11.7 million tourists in 2022, a number that it will almost certainly exceed this year.
