EGYPT INVESTS EGO”1B” TO DEVELOP INTERNET EFFICIENCY

The development of Egypt’s information technology and communications industry, as well as the country’s internet efficiency, has received an EGP 1 billion investment from the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development.

The ministry’s continuous strategy to support Egypt’s ongoing digital transformation and leverage technology as a vehicle for sustainable development includes the budget. The government is also spending EGP 67.1 billion to equip various companies and organisations engaged in research and development of artificial intelligence, telecommunications, and information technology.
