EGYPT LOSES AGAINST DENMARK (25-30) IN THE FINAL DAY OF THE MAIN ROUND
The Pharaohs finished second in their group in the main round with eight points, trailing leaders Denmark by by one point. They had already qualified for the quarterfinals before the game.
The Pharaohs will take against the host nation Sweden on Wednesday in an attempt to advance to the semi-finals for the first time since 2001 when they placed fourth in France.
