The population clock on top of the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics building reported that the internal population of Egypt exceeded 105 million and 250 thousand people, an increase of 250 thousand people in 57 days.

Cairo Governorate topped the list of the top ten governorates in terms of population, with a population of 10.3 million people, and Giza Governorate came in second place with 9.5 million people.
