A FEW HOURS PRIOR TO COP27, EGYPTAIR OPERATES ITS FIRST BIOFUEL FLIGHT TO SHARM EL SHEIKH.

EgyptAir conducted its maiden flight using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) to Sharm El Sheikh a few hours before the official start of the COP27 UN Climate Change Conference.

A number of COP27 attendees were transported to the Red Sea resort town by the biofuel-powered Boeing B787-9 Dreamliner as it departed from Paris’ Charles de Gaulle Airport and arrived at Sharm El Sheikh International Airport.

Thousands of heads of state are scheduled to attend COP27, contributing to the global dialogue on climate action and reaffirming their commitment to international accords to carry out the battle against climate change. Over 40,000 individuals are anticipated to attend.
