Calamawy, the first Egyptian superhero who appeared in Moon Knight, has been chosen in Ridley Scott’s follow-up to the grand historical drama Gladiator.
May will join a cast that already features Connie Nielsen, Barry Keoghan, Paul Mescal, and Denzel Washington. In Morocco, the movie will begin filming this month with a 2024 release date anticipated.
