The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir opened its library to public On World Tourism Day

On World Tourism Day, the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir opened its library and archive in honour of 200 years of Egyptology. With the opening of the library, the Egyptian Museum becomes one of the richest source for books and journals on Egyptology, making its wealth of information more accessible to both academics and hobbyists.
An unprecedented number of people visited places like the Egyptian Museum and the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization throughout the day as a result of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities’ cancellation of entrance prices to all museums in Egypt.
