EGYPT’S CIVIL AUTHORITY INAUGURATES PUBLIC SERVICE CENTRE FOR SENIOR CITIZENS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

A new public service facility for elderly and disabled Egyptians has been created in Abbasiya by the Civil Authority Registry and the Interior Ministry. These citizens’ official paperwork needs, including as those for civil status certificates, national IDs, birth or death certificates, and marriage certificates, will be met by the centre.

The recently opened public service centre will streamline administrative procedures and create a room specifically for people with disabilities to improve their access to government services. The programme is a part of the national “Kaderoon B Ekhtelaf” initiative, which aims to ensure that all Egyptian residents have access to public services.
