The management of El Gouna Film Festival decided to postpone the sixth edition of the festival to be held from October 27 to November 2nd due to Palestine events.
El Gouna film festival published a statement, saying: “In the midst of these unfortunate events, the importance of humanity and compassion among peoples is evident, and the main slogan of the festival “Cinema for Humanity” will be reflected in the festival’s activities.
They added: “So we decided to postpone the upcoming edition, We very much appreciate your understanding of the changes imposed on us by the current circumstances and look forward to welcoming you soon to the sixth edition of El Gouna Film Festival.”
