The first Premier Padel championship in Africa will be held this October.
With new padel courts popping up all around the world and in Egypt, padel is unquestionably the “It Sport” of the moment.
The International Padel Federation will hold its first Premier Padel championship in Africa from October 24 to October 30 at the New Giza Sports Club in Egypt.
Prior events for Premier Padel in Madrid and Mendoza attracted Padel players to the courts to contend for €250,000.
The forthcoming Egypt edition, which will be organised in conjunction with the Egyptian Padel Federation, will also feature that same monetary reward.
This is a really exciting and unique time for padel in not only Egypt but the entire continent of Africa. Premier Padel will be available in New Giza Ziad Hammoud, a member of the Premier Padel Board, states this.
The P1 competition will raise the sport’s visibility and provide fans a chance to watch the finest players compete in the fastest-growing sport in the world.
Next month, Premier Padel viewers in the millions and at the New Giza Sports Club will be treated to some top-notch action. Egyptians are already making progress in the sport; earlier in September, the Egyptian men’s padel squad became the first African team to qualify for the World Padel Championship. The tournament is scheduled to be aired live around the world.
